President’s Message
Dear Younger Members,
Welcome to the American Society of Civil Engineers San Bernardino-Riverside Younger Member Forum (ASCE SB/R YMF) website!
We are a diverse and passionate group of young engineers committed to advancing our Civil Engineering profession. At SB/R YMF, we focus on bridging the gap between recent graduates and the professional society by providing mentorship, career-advising, and numerous networking opportunities. We hold a variety of K-12 student outreach events, professional workshops, community cleanups, and community cooking events.
Our motto for this year is “Connecting People and Advancing Communities.” We will highlight this year’s projects that are genuinely connecting people and advancing societies. The past year has been a good reminder that we are all dependent on one another and what affects one affects all. SB/R YMF, with its diverse, inclusive, and committed board of passionate professionals, will continue advancing our communities, serving underprivileged communities, and providing opportunities for all members.
I hope to see many of you at our events and /or at our monthly board meetings that we hold every first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm; make sure to sign up for our mailing list to keep up with our latest events.
You can also see what we are up to by checking out our social media accounts or signing up for our newsletter.
I look forward to meeting you!
